AFP105 Full Moon Reflected in Bog Pool on Long Mynd

“The first rule among night sky photographers is that the moon is the enemy of stars. But on this night, it felt right to risk heading out to the Long Mynd on the full moon and my instinct was rewarded. The landscape shimmered with unearthly light that was bright enough to find my way to the Bog Pool at Pole Cottage. It was only when the shot came out that I realized there was also a nacreous cloud in the picture – a strange burst of colour in the night sky that added to the final frame.”
