“Climbing up the very steep ancient hillfort of Caer Caradoc that looks down on Church Stretton, I caught the sunset. Then, at dusk, as the sun lay below the horizon, its last rays lit the clouds and sky to the north where the valleys rolled away in gentle folds and the far Wrekin punctured the horizon. As I was framing my shot, a single sheep ambled into view and looked at me quizzically.
The marking on its back seemed to echo the colour in the sky and I knew I had my shot.”
